Beginning Sunday, June 6th we are beginning Project A.R.K. (Awesomely Redeemed Kids), our new Children's Church Curriculum   developed especially for Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene.  We'll be starting with a 13 week series called, "What Do I Believe?"  

  As the children follow the adventures of the clue finding Qwiverful family, they will learn the following:

  We believe in one God

  We believe in the Trinity

  We believe God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient

  We believe the Bible is the Word of God

  We believe God desires a relationship with us

  We believe sin came into the world and sin carries consequences

  We believe in the Incarnation

  We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ

  We believe in the resurrection of Christ and in the sanctification of believers

  We believe disciples are servants

  We believe God gives us spiritual gifts

  We believe in prayer and communion

  We believe in baptism and giving.

  Western Oaks Children's Ministry is committed to teaching children with love and respect.  With our new Project A.R.K. curriculum     we will teach using exciting science experiments and hands on learning.  Each lesson has an accompanying craft to further enhance       the learning experience.  At Western Oaks Children's Church, we want every kid to be an Awesomely Redeemed Kid.

The world gives kids the message that they matter only if they measure up. But God knows the truth and He says they matter just because He made them - no matter what the world thinks. Regardless of how you put it, God's loving message to kids is the same timeless one: "They are precious in His sight."

The Children's Ministries team at Western Oaks believes that children are the world's most precious natural resources. We strive to offer new and exciting programs, activities, and lessons that strengthen spiritual growth, help develop strong Christian values, build self-esteem and pride, teach the Word of God, as well as allow children the opportunity to build Christian friendships - and have FUN in a safe environment.

Sunday Worship Times:

9:45 a.m. Sunday School - (Nursery through 5th Grade)

Lessons are Bible based.

10:45 a.m. Children's Church/3 Groups (Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary)

Lessons expose children to the truth found in scripture and help them

find answers they're looking for which can change the way they think,

the way they play, and the way they see the world around them.

6:00 p.m. Bible Quizzing (Only during the months of September - March)

Children will be enjoying a detailed study of a specific book of the Bible.

They will have the opportunity to go to quiz meets, win trophies, travel to

other areas - PLUS learn the Word as they share in the fun and excitement

of quizzing.

Wednesday Evening Worship Time:

7:00 p.m. Bible Basic Classes - (3 Yr. Old - 5th Grade)

Children will be learning about Christian living, values, and beliefs.

Nursery is provided for ages birth through 2 Years Old.
