Welcome to Ignite - Western Oaks Youth. We meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm and Sundays at 6pm in the FLC.  This includes a time of fun and fellowship.  

We also have Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.  We have a class for Senior High 9th-12th that meets in the gym.  We have a class for Mid-High Boys that meets on the 3rd floor of the main building and we have a Mid-High Girls class that also meets on the 3rd floor of the main building. A Note From Nick

Indeed it has been a while since i have last sent forth a message in a bottle into the sea of curious minds! BUT ALAS! the time has come to inform you all of the coming events in the world of IGNITE!!!

So here are the deets and the dates for Feb!

Sunday, 12th @6p: district worship! (no students, not glow- the YOUTH district worship- this is the ALL district worship) we will gather together as a district to worship and praise God for the awesome things he has done and is doing! we will meet at Trinity Naz! so, there is NO PM ACTIVITIES that night! you are welcome to join us!

Saturday, 18th @5p: do you like music? do you like jesus? do you like cheap? (not necessarily in that order of course)- well then you'll LOVE THIS!!!! we are going to WINTER JAM 2012!!! this is a huge concert with a bunch of big christian artists that will be an absolute blast!! the cost is $10... that's right only 10 bones!! WOOHOO!! we will meet at the church at 5pm, and leave around 5:15. we will then go to the Chesapeake Energy Arena downtown for the show! i can't promise when we'll get back b/c.. well... it's a concert! lol but invite your friends, mark your calendars and let's go!

And finally, 

Wed. 22nd is ASH WEDNESDAY. We will be having a special ash wednesday service that night, and will also have a time of early morning (and i mean EARLY) prayer and ash giving as we kick off the season of lent and begin to look at the magnitude of the sacrifice our Lord gave for us, and try to understand what the means for us! (more details on that soon!)

So- in sum:

2/12 @6- All district worship- Trinity Naz; NO pm activities

2/18 @5- WINTER JAM- Chesapeake Energy Arena 

2/22- Ash Wednesday- the gym; morning prayer and ashes, evening service


I'M SO STOKED ABOUT WHAT GOD IS DOING IN AND THROUGH IGNITE!! Can't wait to see all of you there! (and by there i mean anywhere and everywhere that we are having events and such!)
